Sarong: - Mainly sarongs are worn by men—a long piece wrapped around the waist cloth as a tube-shaped. It is withheld using a knot at the waist area. It can be arranged to various lengths as the wearer wants. Today all men are used to wearing the sarong such as politicians, businessmen, workers in some fields, fishermen and so on.
Saree: - This is a quaint costume of ladies. Some wear various types of sarees for their daily routine such as office work and teaching in schools. The Sarees are a must-worn costume in government schools. The famous type of the saree is Osariya. It is a Kandyan style.
